Hello reader!

Hello again!

Hope your summer is going beautifully! I am already mourning that it will be over soon. But, let's not dwell on that, shall we? I will keep this short and sweet today.

Tomorrow at 6:00 pm is the opening reception for the BAAE: Art Works show at http://prepshipglobal.com/services/ Mobile Museum of Art. One of my watercolor and mixed media pieces was accepted. See detail below. I hope to see you there if you are in town!

I have been working non stop on my book and my tenure and promotion application. I made good progress while in North Carolina and reached 52,000 words. This will probably come down when I sit down to edit everything but for now, I am sticking with that number. The book is due on January 1st and well, if I said I was not anxious about that, I would be lying. But, just like Rome was not built in a day but one war at a time, my book will get done one word at a time. For now, however, I had to put it aside to work non stop on the tenure/promotion application. So, please wish me luck on both projects!

So, will I see you at the museum tomorrow night? Hope so! As always, you can find my work at the following places: RedBubble, Threadless, and Zazzle and oversize art work on Saatchi.

I need your help with ideas for my upcoming show in July 2019. Working on the book and the tenure files have kept me distracted. Shoot me an email or comment on my blog (the newsletter gets published automatically after 24 hours. Just look for the newsletter link at the top right menu). It does not mean I will pick any one idea in particular but it will give me a foundation to work from. So, don't be shy!

Lastly, if you are not interested in receiving my newsletters anymore, no hard feelings but please unsubscribe. Don't get mad at me. Just click that link below ⤵️ that says Unsubscribe and you are done! If you want to continue, no need to do anything.

Until next time my friends!

Enjoy this photo of my new favorite place in North Carolina, Lake Junaluska. And yes, that is my son and my father in law canoeing. Aren't they cute?
